I did a conversion on a 89 cr125 with a 2001 cr250 front end. You are going to need the triple tree from the new bike as well. The all balls kit will contain bearings, races and shimming washers. But I would call them with your idea to be sure.
Need the complete front end off the 2020 and the trick engineering steering stop block. Did a 2012 front end swap on a 2004 kx 125 a few years back.

I received today the kyb A-kit from a 250 2020, but I wonder if the fork fits in the triple clamps from a 450 2008?
Can't find the measurements anywhere, my fork measurements are 55-59.

Late to this post. But you should keep the stock forks and have mx tech put a lucky kit in them. It will bring the bike up to current specs/tech and will still have the uppsers and lowers designed for the chassis.
Ive done newer akit with the larger tubes and it made the ride much harsher then the stock tubes and inserts. I got way more needed feedback from the bike as well.
