Me and a bunch of sophisticated goons are gonna GO-KART in Indy tmrw (FRIDAY)
night, before we launch into party sequence mode.
Fast Times Indoor Karting. It's off the 465 I think...
1900 Hrs.
Wear something snappy.
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Free shipping: VITALMX
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Hmm...karting...
Gonna hit the Speedway Museum on Sunday morning, too.
This is starting to sound like Der Sausage Fest - are there any chickadees
attending this soiree ? Or, is it just gonna be a bunch of greasy dirt bike men with
backwards hats and a splash of Brut infesting their 1985 shirts from a random
AMA National in a state which no longer exists ?
Chicks of the world - please come karting or to watch a Supercross or to party
in downtown Indy - we need your dangerous sunshine in these foggy weeks of winter.
And it's OKAY to dress skanky, or to sport TOO much perfume.
See ya there!
See ya there!
Then, Slap'em in the face!
I'm jus' sayin'...
Pit Row
There NEVER was a real logistical need for the stadium...last year was the 1st and Last year for it...and...it was a WASTE.
Now, if ya wanna talk Demographics and "Draw" for a Dealer show that has really BAD numbers regarding "Western" attendance?
You can't see how the entire thing would be better with the race being there the same week/weekend?
Hell, look at it this way: Vendors -AND- Dealers are jus' TIRED of Indy (And the folks at Dealer News will tell you that they're "Stuck" there for a few more years. Now that's a MISTAKE!).
Anything to make the show better would be a REAL GOOD IDEA.
This is my 'conclusion' after a very informative "Round-Table" last Sunday-night involving more than a few Dealers and Vendors...and then there's been conversations on the flight home (OEM Exhibitor) phone-calls jus' today (Big OEM supplier & acc'y manufacturer)...
All with the same comments..."same people" ..."same town"..."nothing new" ..."Don't know if it's WORTH IT anymore!" That last comment is THE problem.
I'm jus' sayin'...
and in 92? or 93 i did get to race the Amatuer SX the day after, that was really cool.
Ive been to the Speedway Museum a couple of times and its awesome GuyB, if you get the chance ride the van around the track thats cool also
