So I just got a 1979 Yamaha Gt80 for Chirstmas (yes it's a little early). The guy said it runs but the shifter arms or something like that is bent he said. So any clue where I can get a service manual for this or some info on how I can fix this. Or how to put it back together because the guy took it apart but its all in pieces and i dont know how some of this stuff goes back on. Please help me.

Ok, just figured some stuff out it's a Gt80F and the drive axle is broken. Any body have a suggestion on where to get cheap parts?

I'd put this in moto.

ThePipe or someone would or could steer you in the right directions. He does all kinds of this stuff.

I have a '79 GT80 also. I pulled it out of my Father-in-Law's barn about 4 years ago. I was able to find most of the parts I needed in salvage yards and on e-bay.

I'm down to a front fender, seat cover and front fork springs & mine will be done...
