d3O Soft body armor, this stuff is amazing. It's been around a few years but I have not seen or heard about it being used in any sports. With all the injuries occurring I would think riders would be using it.

I saw in my new SportRider issue that Fleshgear (I believe) is incorporating this stuff in their new jacket. Looks awesome.

Oh hell, someone in the dirt bike industry using a little forward thinking technology and incorporating it into a safety device. How long before all the naysayers pile on about how the shovel to the head and knee test doesn't prove it's effectiveness?

Just don't make the mistake of calling it a chest protector or claiming that it will actually work. This sport doesn't like people trying to make things safe. And don't move the tractor tires out of the inside of the first turn where 40 people going wfo are aiming for either. And always make the turns by the trees, and put the utility poles at the bottoms of the jumps................

Yes, it is sarcasm people. I do like to see common sense applied and applaud the people behind the Leatt and the 661 group for using some new technology.

my company is using it in some touring jackets, ive seen IN person how good this stuff works great!!!!! its as good as air.If we can make away to put it in more mx gear the sport would be better off. if the finished product works as well as good as the raw d30 we are going to be in a great spot.this could be the next big thing next step up from RXR.
