I believe Davi made an motocross discovery for all of us who race, DO NOT TAKE CREATINE. I was taking it and whey protein to hulkify myself but now I best stop and just be happy lookin like Richard Simons.

I hope Six Time called Davi to congradulate him. It's not about training or tatoos or laziness, it was that damn creatine.

Whats the problem with using creatine/whey protein and racing motocross? Why not use it?

Six time would be no time if RJ didn't get hurt, not too mention take him under his wing and ride & train with him and suggest Honda hire him. Stanton's a miserable shit...with an oversized ego...and a shrine to himself in the basement of his own house.

So creatine causes armpump? sure, and armpump surgery works too right?? lol It's a good theory, but people get armpump without creatine too... always have, always will... it's a mental thing.

the problem with arm pump is it's rarely in the arms...most usually in the head.

Creatine will mess you up for riding!. It causes your muscles to bloat, hold water, and cramp up easily. Stuff is decent for lifting, but not good for riding. I had to quit taking it years ago for the same reason.

I have a bottle of creatine in the kitchen... big capsules man... sorry, have to call a big, fat BS on that one. Kinda hard to "not realize" you're taking that stuff.

His trainer said that the supplement company changed the formula of a supplement that he directed Davi to take. He took him off of it after they discovered that the company started adding creatine to the supplement.

OK, but creatine is a big selling product, surely they would have that on the labeling and market it as containing creatine... JMO

Stanton was much better than most people give him credit for. Even he will admit that he was not near as personable when racing as he is now. Give the guy credit for what he accomplished, nobody out hustled or out worked Jeff Stanton. And what pro rider or any pro athlete for that matter doesn't have a shrine of their accomplishments in their house?

I'm sure it was just business as usual until someone read the revised ingredient label and discovered that it had changed.

The way it was described to me was that Davi was already taking products from the company, and that they were presented with a "New and Improved" version. Davi's trainer (John Louch) had previously told reps from the company that they didn't want anything with creatine in it, and assumed that the new version didn't have it as well. John told me he's taking the blame for not checking it out more thoroughly.

Armpump comes from holding the bike with your arms and not your legs, ive never had a single case of armpump in my life and ive raced outdoors for years. if you grip the bike with your inner thighs and ride on the balls of your feet the bike will do the rest. just remember creatine may or may not be good for you but the bulkier you are, the better your muscular structure the less prone you are to injuries from being thrown, but the down size is more weight for the bike to haul around

FYI - there is no QC, regulation, or Govt entity requirement to accurately display what is actually in weight lifting supplements. I have a very close friend who is a professional body builder and he only uses very specific supplements because there is no regulation in the supplement industry - and he uses the one that tests out the best (there are some testing companies that independently run tests and report them, but most people don't know this). Just because a label says something, doesn't mean thats what's in it when it comes to weight lifting supplements.
