Anyone else going to Daytona, I'm set to fly into Tampa Bay tomorrow morning and then staying with friends in Daytona Beach for the Daytona 500. Got tickets for the Bud Shootout, Nationwide series, the Truck race and the 500. Hope RC is still racing that truck, haven't seen him race since 07. There's also a Shuttle launch on Feb 7th 4:39am were going to go see, Anybody have any suggestions where to go, heard Titusville is good, wherever that is.

CARMICHAEL ON 4-WHEELS AT DAYTONA: Saturday’s race at Daytona International Speedway will mark Carmichael’s third start at the famed track. The Florida native has one previous ARCA start (2009) and one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start (2009) to his resume.
CARMICHAEL ON 2-WHEELS AT DAYTONA: Carmichael holds the record for most wins (5) in supercross at Daytona. He is tied for the record for the most consecutive wins (4) with Jeff Stanton.
CARMICHAEL ON ARCA: The former supercross champion will make his fourth ARCA start in two years this weekend at Daytona. In his previous three starts (Talladega, Daytona and Rockingham) Carmichael has qualified in the top 10 twice.
ATOP THE PIT BOX: Veteran Crew Chief, Butch Hylton, will call the shots for the No. 4 entry during the ARCA opening-season race this weekend.
DID YOU KNOW: The inaugural Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship will take place on Sunday, March 7 at Daytona. On Monday, March 8, Carmichael will then host Ricky Carmichael University, the first public riding school ever hosted by the 15-Time AMA National Champion. Carmichael on Why ARCA Works For Him: “I am going to be completely honest with you, I really like the ARCA Series. To become a better competitor I need seat time. This series goes to the big tracks, testing is not limited and ultimately it allows me to drive a race car outside of my Truck Series schedule. Even though I have experience at Daytona anytime I can climb behind the wheel of the race car is good for me and my team. I have a good time with it and after Saturday I will be ready for the truck race next week.”

The GOAT was interviewed on the live audio feed after his run. He joked about the need for a motorcycle track in the infield. He said he was happy with the starting spot. He also mentioned that his car was really good in the draft when they tested at Daytona last month.
