Tommorow is my first time going to a supercross, sow its all new to me. If i want to watch all the practice i need a fan fest ticket. But i already have my supercross tickets but i cant find where i can find the fan fest tickets.
It says on the supercross live website you can also bring a empty monster energy can as a ticket?? Is this true?
Since im here i might also ask what is fun to do in LA besides the usual stuff?
I’ve never needed a fan fest ticket to watch practice. Where did you get this info from?
There’s a thread in here, I think put up by Mav, that has the A1 event schedule & it shows what time the stadium opens/when you can go in and start watching qualifying.
And, no, you don’t need a fan-fest ticket to go into the stadium for qualifying.
Edit: the schedule says the stadium gates aren’t opening until 4 pm…? That’s not good for the people that want to watch qualifying…hopefully that’s a mis-print. This year’s start time is earlier than a typical A1 & qualifying will be over at around 2:45.
Your ticket will get you in the gate to the stadium where you can watch practice. I always use the empty Monster Energy can to get into fan fest. Fan Fest is outside the stadium separate entrance from the entrance into the stadium. Just a note for Anaheim location. My brother and I both got tickets for "tail gating"... We were sitting on the back of a Honda civic drinking beers, cops rolled up on horseback!! $356 bucks each!! A1 is a blast have fun.

There are limited gates opened during the day to watch practice/qualifying with limited seating in the lower area. You don’t need a seat in the lower section to be down there to watch practice
All gates/seats open at 4
You can pitch a tent and live in the Santa Ana River drain culvert 100 yards away, but you absolutely must not enjoy yourself while in the parking lot.
Yeah thats what i thouhgt. It says gates open at 4, and fan fest is open 10.00 thats why thought i needed that. But if i understand correctly i can go at 10.00 and wacht al the practice
Once you are in you can move around and watch practice from whatever sections are open, and you can probably go sit in "Industry Seating" section and see riders, managers, and wives/girlfriends up close too. My times in Angel Stadium no one has ever stopped me from sitting in or near the industry seating area. Just be respectful of everyone and remember they are there to do a stressful job. For pit access/fan fest, an empty Monster can will get you the required stamp. Pro tip: if you are super hungover after a Friday night in Huntington Beach, you can just dump the Monster contents in the flower beds outside Angel stadium to save your stomach, LOL.
Gates open at 10:00am for you to watch practice / qualifying. Opening ceremonies start at 4:30pm with racing starting at 5:00pm.
Empty Monster you can redeem at the front gate before you enter the stadium can for you to get into the pits / fanfest. Enjoy!!
