Kinda off topic, how will Barcia ever ride the big bikes? If he tries to ride it like he rides a lites bike I am roughly 90% certain he will die.

But true... Just the same reason Dungey has transitioned well, and Pourcel will, and i'll put money on Weimer doing so too... All smooth riders with good throttle control...

Man, i'm sure the Barcia fans were starting this BS last year before the Nationals. So much for dominating in 09. A good ride though.

If he does it, great, i'm a fan anyways... Just think people saying he is gonna kill some more proven riders is a bit much just now... especially on last years performances...

It isn't like CP, AS, JW or the rest of the pack has gotten slower!!!
James didn't have the competition that Barcia has to deal with the talent pool is alot deeper now in that class than it was then.

Justin raced the 450 here in New England a couple years ago at an event I was annoucing.

The only problem Justin had was keeping the engine together, in the 3 450 motos he raced he won 1 and DNF'd 2 because of mechanicals....no crashes.

He is the real deal and will have no problems adjusting to the 450 when the time comes.

Ask any of the Vurb moto guys that have seen Justin on the 450, he will be fine.

If Justin Barcia had hit fitness to the right levels and Glen Helen, he would have won Glen Helen. His speed was not the issue.
