I acquired a 2022 TX300i this weekend. What is the black tube mounted at the top of the fork? I took it off thinking it was some kind of canister and the top would screw off, but it wouldn't. It's clearly an aftermarket part, but I have no idea what it does. It's heavy like a weight. Will it give me power?

Never seen one like that but wondering if it's some type of mass damper?

Take it off, ride, put it on, ride, and tell us what difference you feel!

Flux Capacitor. Watch what happens when you put desert gearing on that bike and hit 88 MPH!

If you feel a difference then I have some clothes you might like to buy. They only appear invisible to gullible people.
