Anyone know what happened to him? I was sitting at the tunnel. He went on the site lap and lined up. Bit then backed out and got his mechanic and left.

In moto 2? No idea. Moto 1, he left the stadium floor after his crash, so they wouldn’t let him line up for the restart.

Oh I guess that's what is was. I was confused about it. Hard to follow up in the stands.

They explained it during thr broadcast. He was ok after the first turn crash and just had the wind knocked out of him. But he was not allowed to race again after the red flag because he left the stadium. Its in the rule book that you can't leave the stadium for any reason during the race or you forfeit your position
