2023 KTM 450SXF Bike Build
Update 14 - WP vs KYB Fork Testing

Ride JBI has been staying busy with suspension testing and development for the 2023 KTM & Husqvarna models.

Using the 2 sets of JBI Spec WP XACT Pro 6500 Forks, 2 sets of JBI Spec WP Cone Valve Forks and 1 set of KYB SSS Forks Ride JBI has been doing back to back testing of each brand / type of fork and recording the riders feedback and experience.

Many more riders will be used as testers and their feedback shared.

Comparing the WP CV, WP XACT Pro, and KYB SSS forks back to back on the same day, at the same track, on the same bike, with the same rider….see where I am going with this…..meaning eliminating variables during the test.  Ride JBI is able to learn the gaps in performance and differences in feel among the different forks.  After learning about the gaps / differences in performance Ride JBI then sets of on how to fill in those gaps aka eliminate the differences in performance.

For example:  If fork A has better plushness / rider comfort then fork B.  The goal for fork B is to figure out how to make that fork more similar feeling in that specific area as fork A.

The main objective of the fork testing is to improve all of our JBI Suspension settings for WP CV, WP XACT Pro and KYB SSS forks.

Here are a few rider feedback videos so far.

@RideJBI have you found one particular fork standing out for:

1) Very deep, rough tracks (though I have not seen these conditions in any SoCal videos)

2) Hardpack with flat turns

3) Able to perform well for both of the above by having a wide operating window or ease of tunability?
