Had the pleasure of meeting Birdy and being in his hospitality at a couple of BSB rounds. Top bloke who put over 1 million pounds of his own money into the team every year.

At one round Barcia and wife were in his hospitality a couple of years ago

He still sponsored a few MX riders

Im not sure that needs any elaboration does it?

He had his personal battles. That is how professionals like Glenn Irwin state it. To be honest running two full time professional companies, could take his toll and then a little boost now and then quickly becomes a habit. Saw it with a friend of mine who was a computer genius and tried to work 16 to 18 hours and spend 2 to 3 hours with his girl. Goes good for a time but the brick wall is waiting somewhere.

Paul Bird will be missed and if his team folds, that will be a big deal too for the BSB paddock.

If only voting to get somebody booted was an option here.
