I don’t know if he has a ‘real’ tennis background or not, I guess. Tennis seems to me a lot like MX, it’s very difficult to get to any sort of top level without having started extremely early. I suppose that if you don’t need to actually make money from tennis you could eventually get some entries into some lower level tournaments and such, but it’d be hard to imagine making any sort of permanent presence on the top levels.
Would be wild if he could pull it off, though! Maybe he’s privy to information that makes him believe his dad is going to sell the team and he won’t have a guaranteed ride?
I have no idea what his background in tennis is. He might be playing since he was a kid, but I can't see him making a career out of it.
As I've mentioned, he's fortunate to be in a position that he can do whatever he wants when he wants. He doesn't necessarily have to make money at it.
The team has turned the car around and he's still not doing much with it. Maybe he's bored with F1 and wants a new challenge.
Personally, I've questioned how long Lawrence would keep the team if Lance decided F1 was no longer want he wanted to do.
He's a businessman, and this is a business. With the amount of money he spent, I can't see him selling it that soon, but money talks.
Still a very odd rumour.
First race I've been able to catch in weeks. It's quite a race. Or was until the red came out.
Just finished up watching.
That was one helluva race.
As it usually is when rain throws a curve into everyone's strategy.
Now on to watch the IMSA GT race at VIR.

Watched it this morning with some friends from England. It’s funny hearing their banter. That was a good race with the intermittent showers. The track with the banked turns is one of my favorites.
Verstappen is now tied with Vettel for most consecutive F1 wins in history (9).
Vettel did it in 2013 in a Red Bull car.
Alfa Romeo will have a special livery for Monza this weekend.
Looks bad ass!
George Russell and Lewis Hamilton both signed contract extensions through 2025 with Mercedes.

Pirelli's 'Alternative Tire Allocation' is in play for qualifying, so teams must use hard tires in Q1, mediums in Q2 and softs in Q3.
Eliminated in Q1: Zhou, Gasly, Ocon, Magnussen, Stroll.
Eliminated in Q2: Tsunoda, Lawson, Hulkenberg, Bottas, Sargeant.
Williams performs well at low downforce tracks but still...wow for Albon! Amazing in every session.
Always thought Albon should never have been dumped by redbull.
Seriously annoyed this weekend.
My cable provider is at odds with disney.
Right now I've no ESPN.
So therefore, no F1.

Well I was wrong but I still think it's just a matter of time till Max gets by.
My pick for the championship is Verstappen.
Pretty brave of you
Man, Ferarri didn't screw up this weekend, but LeClerc sure was giving it a go.
He saw it on the news.
Where is this, please? Looks like it could be repurposed for all kinds of fun.
Starting to think Liam Lawson will get that second seat at Alpha Tauri (whatever they're renaming it to now) next year...
Monza, Italy.
Yes, the old, original Monza banking.
Back in the woods behind the parabolica.
It still exits on to the main track.
So which seat will he get ? Yuki is doing great and they want to keep him and Ricciardo says he wants the second Redbull seat but he had it in the past and Perez still has a year on his contract. Marko has said in the past that these drivers that had the Redbull seat, they had their chance, so I doubt guys like Gasly,Albon and even Ricciardo will get another shot. My opinion is Perez will be their next season and then will be replaced with a driver like Norris, or LeClerc or even a new up and coming driver like Lawson. To bad Marko has such a huge say in who will be a Redbull driver but with his latest round of foot in mouth"Perez statement" and with the death of his close friend and owner of REDBULL Dietrich Mateschitz maybe Marko will be on his way out. Even though he worked for Redbull and not the F1 team he had way to much power over picking the drivers.
