Alpinestars vs Gaerne sizing help?

I am wearing A star Tech 7s want to go to Sg 12 do they fit about the same etc? reason I ask is I wear a 16 in a tennis shoe but make myself get in a stars 14 in the tech 7 with no bootie. I cant squeeze any smaller and all Gaerne makes is up to a size 14 does the sg12 have a bootie? Thanks

no the sg12 does not have a bootie and fits on the bigger side of a alpinestars almost a full size. I wear a size 9 tech 10 and a size 8 sg12

Gaerne's run about a size bigger. I'm a 12 in all my tech 10's and have ran 11's in both SG-12's and 10's.

yeah, i wore size 8 tech 10's and bought size 8 sg-12's and they're too big. anyone wanna trade? go a size smaller.

Check out the SIDI Crossfire. They are great boots aswell! I like them better than the Tech-10.

looks like its been answered but ill add my experiance also. my size 14 tech 8's are very snug and my size 14 sg10's are pretty loose. i could have gone 13 in them.

i also wore a size 9 in a tech 10, but wear a size 8 in the sg 12. i actually bought size 9's and had to take them back and get 8's. once you get the sizing right, they may be the best boots ever.

On the Boot issue...

I've recently been wearing Fox's "Comp 5" boot. It's a "Price-Point" boot...$179.95

WTF?!

They fit, feel and wear as good/better than a lot of High Dollar boots.

Huh?

When it comes to Boots that cost Bucks: I like an Honest-to-God Italian Boot.

But, that's jus' me.
