my ankle has been jacked for 2 months, bad sprain and its still hurting, one simple case job and you restart the whole healing process, if its a sprain you can tough it out with the boots out nowadays...

I shattered both my ankles, and was riding after 2 months. a simple sprained ankle shouldnt leave metty out of the 2010 sx season. East starts febuary 20th.

i shattered both my ankles and was in a wheelchair for 4 months.

It's being called a "bad sprain." Unfortunately, those can sometimes take longer to heal from than a break. Hope he heals up quickly.
