Did anyone else notice the 50’s all had the most riders in last moto, great for the future of the sport.
LL 2023 Moto Recap
Moto 1: 34th gate pick and still got 3rd on the start! Was running 4th and as soon as she passed for 3rd place the bike shut off! Resulting in a DNF 😔
Moto 2: Had 41st gate pick and still came out in like 7th on the start! Got up to 5th and then the sand eventually got in the chain causing the wheel to lock up and ultimately killing the clutch! Resulting in another DNF😔!
Moto 3 did not look like it was going to happen bc of weather and being behind schedule so we decided to pack up and leave……after getting about 45 min down the road they decided to cut the other motos down to be able to fit the 50s in and the weather was being pushed back! So we decided to turn around and go back! After turning around we blew a tire on the camper and rode on the rim back to the ranch!
Moto 3: last gate pick and a flagged start still got 5th on the start! And finally managed to finish a race with no issues or wrecks!! Ended up getting 4TH PLACE!!
And somehow managed still ending up 30th overall with two DNFs !!
Want to say a huge THANK YOU to @minton_racing for all there help getting the bike fixed for moto 2 and the last minute clutch fix before moto 3! You guys are the best!😊

That's an awesome story that you'll not only get to retell forever but will probably be told by some in this thread. 5 yo or 55 yo, boys or girls, 50cc 2stroke or 450 4stroke, A, B, or C class it's all the same when your charging into the first turn at LL for the 3rd time for the week. Thanks for sharing and thanks for turning around - good call, flat tire was just an added bonus!!
Sounds like she had some bad luck, showed her speed and paid some valuable LL dues - See ya next year...as I'm sure a moto monster was born this week.
