Newer to this forum and returning to the sport after a 10 year hiatus (due to career beginning and now 2 young kids). Now living in the country a bit, I decided it was time to get some tiddlers again.
Was always hooked on the Euro 2 strokes, I've had the following bikes in order.
2007 Husqvarna WR 125
2001 Husqvarna CR 250
2009 Husqvarna WR/CR 144
2003 TM Racing 125 MX
2009 TM Racing EN 155 (modded 144)
and now a 2001 TM Racing EN 125 and a 2009 Husqvarna WR 250.
I searched all winter for a 2000-2007 TM 125, had a couple deals fall through and finally sourced this 2001...it is abused. I've not gotten into it at all, but I've gone ahead and sourced the following for it:
New bearings all around, wheels, linkage, swingarm, etc.
Fork and shock rebuild parts incoming.
Fast by Ferraci CR 125 JD Racing dual map ignition with switch.
NOS piston kits
NOS full engine oil seal kit
NOS full engine gasket kit incoming
NOS Clutch centre, fiber and basket
NOS Airbox boots, frame and air filter frame
NOS clutch slave kit
NOS front and rear sprocket
NOS shifter
DID Gold Chain
Air filter
TMXX carb and completed Jarvis mods/Digger jetting mods for newer KTM/GG/HUSKY's, bike came with a knockoff PWK, cannot trust that.
KX 125 number plates and rear fender
TM Progrip 788 grips
2020 KTM 125 SX Brembo Clutch and Front brake master (bike came with $20 jobbers from amazon yikes)
Blue Protaper Bar Pad for existing pro taper SE CR mid.
New Tires and Tubes
Stock wheels are surprisingly in good shape with anodizing well intact and not faded.
Let the fun begin!
Also want to get the groups thoughts on colour for the frame. Check the poll

That's funny, I was actually going to pick this bike up prior to getting the 99.
silver frame for sure on the TM.
Subscribed. I voted blue frame, silver subframe just cause a friend told me to mine blue, but I resisted. That's a big order of TM parts.
Bit of progress:
Cleaned up wheels, new bearings and tires mounted. Swapped 2020 Brembo Masters on from KTM. New pro taper bar pad. Honed and rebuilt top end. Bottom end within spec. Will likely do a full tear down in future and go 144 or 155. Gave it the "testarossa" head treatment but in TM blue. HGS pipe started to get cleaned up, a few dents to be removed. Looks like someone ported this one a bit. Any experts speak to the tune? Planning to restore these plastics a bit and ride it later this year then continue with rest of resto, powder coat, etc.
Other small updates, got to ride it around yard.
Picked up VForce 4R for 87-00 CR 125 and some other CR parts for the chain guide/rollers.
Can anyone with a TM confirm if they've tried the 2000-2001 CR125/250 side panels or the 04 KXF/RMZ side panels? They look very close, hoping to go with white panels.
About to strip it down and send frame in for powder coating, what are you guys paying for frame/subframe combos...
Getting quoted $400-450 Canuckian up here...

Love the Send Nudes sticker on the swingarm.I say leave it. Trick bike man!
TM side panels 2003 and up fit the 99-2002 models and are still available.
Messing around with designing my own graphics.
Thoughts?

Can believe the spokey-dokes survived after the first picture.
Loved my 300, should have kept it.
Lol they will come off eventually, I thought they were like off-road spoke protection??
