Just checking in to see if anyone is having or heard of this problem?

Bike went into neutral while down shifting 2 laps back to back.  The first time when down shifting from 4th to 2nd, chopped the throttle, banged it down twice and it was in neutral.  The second time different section of track, down shifted from 3rd to 2nd and it went into neutral.  Going to mess around with it tomorrow just to make sure my boot wasn’t accidentally hitting the shifter but haven’t been having this issue before.  Bike has 13 hours on it.

My friend has a 23 gas gas factory edition and hasn’t had this problem.  He told me to put Rotella in it !?

Mobile 1 4T.  Ran it in my 19 Husky 450 with no issues.  This new bike is a 250f

Run 10-60 motorex and I’ll bet you a beer it goes away.  Those 250 and 350 Austrian motors do really well with it.

How's that 10/60 in cold temps especially on start up?

You won’t notice a difference with start up.  I ran it all year round in my 350’s.

I’m surprised you haven’t been running it in your boys bikes.  All things being the same (air filter cleanliness, how your son runs the motor, etc…) you will also see less wear on the internals at rebuild time. I’m not saying it will go another 25 hours between rebuilds, but it will provide a slightly higher level of protection from wear.

Ya.  Run 10/50 now and change pretty religiously every 3-5 hours on the practice bike and race bike every race.    Filter every other on the practice bike and every time on race.
