I don’t think this will go to trial. I think it’s just a letter from an attorney telling fcr to return the suspension or else they’ll take them to court. Letters like these usually scare a company enough to get them to comply.

Yep exactly. It’s just a demand letter. I’m not sure it will be enough. they don’t seem to care too much about laws or court.

Considering the overwhelming amount of proof, I don’t think they’d stand a chance in civil court though if it comes to that. Likely Jake will end up with his money back (not suspension) and court fees/attorney fees paid by FCR.  It’s still a loss because he can’t ride for months and months. If I were him, I’d replace the suspension in another week or two if the demand letter doesn’t work, then have a reputable company rebuild it and keep all those receipts for the suit.

Demand letters are a strategic precursor to filing a suit. I'm betting the good doctor isn't bluffing and will gladly run the legal gauntlet. He can buy another bike to ride in the interim.

This is wild. I sent my stuff to him back in 2010, he did a great job on it. I had some questions when I was at the track, I called him up and he helped me out. Fast forward to this year, got back into riding and want to get my stuff done and I see all of this. GLAD I DID because I would loose my f'n mind if someone did this to me. I would be driving there right now to get my stuff.

I see a few people that absolutely love this guy and swear by him. He gives those people support and possibly does some free. I also see some guys that said he did ok the first time and the 2nd time was a nightmare never again. Then there's the overwhelming majority of people that had terrible experiences and got ripped off like me. Even if I had a great experience I wouldn't trust the guy again just because of the people that have had terrible experiences plus his track record now.

For sure man, I can't believe this is the first time I'm hearing of this. What's even crazier is they act like they don't care at all.

Yep, totally.

I don't know about the state they are in but in my state a call to the state attorney general office gets shit done when it is consumer vs  a company.  A showing of the the message and the hostage of the parts would result in them either sending the parts and fulfilling the demands of the customer to settle the situation or clip goes their business license.  I'm just saying a call to the state attorney general, a complaint filed would produce way more results than a demand letter from a lawyer and it is free to do.

Ok so it looks like he had 5 companies. Guy said he worked for them. I'm not sure anyone will ever stop them sadly. FB IMG 1682769254185.jpg?VersionId=EzRlfFiGPNS.2Y

I agree with this. Once I just mentioned the states attorney to paypal they quit harrassing me permanently. She even admitted to me on the phone that since I mentioned them she had to stop talking to me at that point. I don't know why, but I was glad it worked. BTW this was over a fraud case confirmed by ebay, that paypal was trying to make me pay for.

Clarification - he might get a judgement in his favor saying he is owed his money and/or suspension back and court/attorney fees.   Him ever actually receiving anything is another story.  Scumbags like these fools die hard and the odds are not in the victims favor that they ever actually meet any or all of the terms of a judgement, based on my anecdotal observations, of course.

What was the reason for refusing to give it to you?

I'll be in New Middletown tomorrow. Not far from Bobs. If you know Jake, tell him to message Bob and tell him to deliver it to my jobsite. He knows my name. If he gets it to me, I will personally get it back to Jake to get it out of their damn possession.

At this point I don't think they even have his suspension or it isn't even close to ready. If they did I feel like they would of supplied pictures, they've been asked in the post for a month now.

They'll keep this hidden from hillbillies, UTV guys, and people who aren't on the internet.. that's how theyll stay alive.. I tried to help with no response from fcr. Even text the last known number I had in my phone for Bob.
