Hi Guys,

I'm restoring a 1976 XR75, back to 'as new' original condition.

Having a nightmare finding a simple part, that is a carb inlet manifold/pipe.

Honda no longer sell them and there havnt been any recently on ebay

Can anyone help me find one, new or used, but must be original

Thanks guys

Wish I had a spare one for you, but I don't. That part is hard to come by and NOS ones on ebay bring big bucks. Used ones are are also pricey and often are missing the rubber carb boot. I'd suggest that you just watch ebay daily and search for both "XR75" and "XR 75" with a space.

I think this may be a 77 engine that someone gave me in a big box of junk. Does any of this look like anything you can use? I'm beyond tired of tripping over and moving it from place to place.

I may also have one on a 74 XR at home that I will eventually be replacing with an aftermarket intake. Is there a difference between the years?

That is a '73-76 engine with the intake that sfbrain is looking for. The later intakes are straight.

I have one in a box of XR75 stuff but it's slightly straighter and has some rubbe on it...what year is that?

Hi Newmann,

Yes that is exactly what i am after, both the alloy manifold on the barrel and the rubber joint attached to the inlet side of the carb.

Please let me know what you want for the parts and what the postage to the uk will be and i will happily send you the money (paypal, bank transfer ?).

Thanks again, real appreciate it

Sounds like 77-up intake.

Got it. I'll get this boxed up in the next day or so and get it headed your way. As soon as I find out what shipping is I'll let you know.

Try XRMiniracer.com. Alex Judd knows them inside and out, and had plenty of parts, including manifolds, carbs, replica pipes from DG and JWRP and PK, all of it. He's a master XR guy, and is helpful.
