Curious if anyone remembers a post race show of sorts from the mid 90s that originated at Loretta Lynns? It was a precursor to our show DMXS Radio and all the other shows and podcasts that followed it.
Do you have any photos or recollections of it?
I remember being at the ranch, no RV or escape from the heat, helping my younger brother at the race ALL day and then hanging out on the bleachers listening to DC and maybe Pete Fox talk moto as the sun was setting. Then they would ring up some of the stars of our sport and talk candidly about life, racing, and anything else that popped up. There was nothing like it at the time.

Yes I believe so. His brother Phil just retired from Parts Unlimited. Someone from his family was trying to sell his photos for him on Facebook but I'm not sure how that went.
Those shows were so cool and fun. Nothing like it at the time.
Oh man ! I Remember trying to hurry and get shower on stage coach. And Haul ass on my Z50 back to the camp site . Tent Ezup haha and tuning in . Good time good times

I have black and white , which was all he did I think back in the 80s, that are my favorite of all the photos I have. I bet he still has the negatives filed by name, the guy was hardcore. I will get my daughter to look at fb , and contact info be appreciated.
I got one photo of a double jump at the Anderson sc national in 87 he took and a person with me was shooting color with a 35mm . Years later I’m looking thru these thing and realize my guy snapped the same pic from a distance and in it is Gary down on one knee next to the jump taking that picture.
I would love to hear some audio or see some photos, I think the program for Lorettas mentioned Radio Fox too.
Was this after "Mr radio" (I think that is what he was called, dude in the wheelchair that kind of djed during the day, always had the right song for what was happening, and this was still in the cassette days)
Gary was hard-core moto.
Always carrying several cameras. A huge hip bag. And a notebook. And would hit 2 races a weekend. Drove a compact car. Picked up a little extra writing cycle news articles for the tracks.
South Georgia, even Florida for big events, and muddy creek or lake sugar tree the next.
He would send out 8×10 photos cod. You could look at them, and if you didn't want them, (or like me, could not afford to buy them the and race next week) send them back, and he would send you a refund.
He had to do that with a couple hundred photos a week.
I would pay a premium for any photos of me now. I only have 5 or 6 I was able to buy over the years and they are precious to me.
I hope he is well, and if anybody has info on how to find out about his archives please post it.

While you're there, marvel at the header photo that Gary took at the High School National Championship race at Wildcat Creek back in 1976. Total mayhem in the first turn. That's me on the #73.
