I just had my son forks rebuild and the side where you put the air in it barley moves by hand compared to the other side is that normal after rebuild.

Please be a little more detailed. I’d like to help. What do you mean barely moves? How pressurized is the air fork?

the damping side should move fairly easily, getting progressively stiffer as you go. The air side should be very difficult to move past a few inches.

Air side is what I was wondering about I just had them rebuilt and I just wanted to make sure they did not do it wrong.  But it’s Weird to me that one side would be stiffer than the other.

The air side is the spring. Other side is damping only. Major difference in how they will feel individually, you’ve just probably never felt the difference until now.
