I'm bumping this in front because it's right.

Yes, Cygnus, there should be some way to help...Lou wouldn't want a BB money raiser. Yes, Debbie could use some help, but in earning money, not BB hand outs.

Having said this....if you want to send money to her... same address as before when I was collecting for someone else. She's hurting.

Very sorry to hear. I'm glad he is still fighting and there's hope.

I actually met Lou a few times when I went south to ride at Bithlo in the winter. He seemed like a good guy, the type you want running a track. I actually wondered what he got up to after the RC16 mess.

This is very sad news. Lou is one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure to deal with, work with, ride with, and know. My thoughts and prayers are and will be with you and your family. If anyone can beat the odds. IT'S LOU ! I have been "out of the loop" for MX for a few years, but I really hope someone steps-up and organizes a benefit event of some kind to help out the family. If they do, I and at least 15 of my riding mates WILL BE THERE.

I just got back from visiting Lou. It was a good day. Debbie and his mom were there and he was just sort of chilling....no real movement. Then my wife Janet called on my phone. I asked Lou if he wanted to talk to her (Joking). He held out his left hand and took the phone.

He was listening and smiling. The he said ......."yeah, yeah, ok, yeah, ok, ok "............Well that might not sound like much,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but its BIG!!!!!! Janet did not believe it was him.

This was so much improvement in one week. Please keep praying.

Quick update ......Lou has started putting words together and can use the tv remoter to change channels. His right side is still paralyzed but has made some big leaps in the last week or so.
