As the title said, Andre's ashes were spread at Namur on the 2nd of April.
I'm OS at the moment, and I can't put pictures up or links to the story, what with being on a company tablet, that is restricted to stop 'secrets' getting out about a project I have a ( very) small part in. A good idea, as I could easily press the wrong button, and cause a meltdown with my E tech ineptness .....
Perhaps someone reading this ( Robgvx ? : he may well have been at the ceremony, having competed with Andre, with Rob getting 9th in The World in Andres last year in the GPs - 1986) could put up links / pictures of the ceremony?
It's so very fitting that Andre has been honoured at Namur!

Fitting resting place for a great champion, many years ago my daughter in law picked me up at Brussells airport 6 a.m. she asked if there was anything I wanted to do on the way home (western Germany) I said I want to walk the Namur GP track before I leave Europe. We went directly to the track and spent the day hiking the grounds and taking it all in. That place is important and beautiful in motocross history and my life is better being there even once.
