New track opening in Manatee county Fl.

Have you been there to check it out yet?I know it says they don't open until November but I wasn't sure if you had any involvement in it.

SWEEEEEET! Only like 30 min away from my wife parents in Sarasota! Will be planning more road trips and bringing the bike!

If there is any need for some local riders to test the track and maybe provide some feedback.

Yep, right in between St Petersburg and Sarasota.

Man, what a flashback. That was one of the top 2 tracks in this state for years.

Although it's not as popular, the track up by Panama city was my fav.

I'm very glad to hear about any new track these days. I wonder who's going to run/own this one? The people that used to own it were as close to family as they could be. We used to get a hotel on Friday, and race practice all weekend we liked it there so much. I wish the new track the best of luck and hope they get alot of riders out there.

There are actually 2 new tracks there...... Forest glen is not open yet, but is built..... It is on the same road (Roy Moore Rd.) as Sunstate/Countyline was back in the 90's. It is right where that dirt road turns left, track is on the right...... they just completed work on the road.

There is another small track/OHV/mudbog facility that is now open, and it is where the old Sunstate SX track was... brings back LOTS of great memories!! It's a small track right now, but they have a really fun 4th gear step-up........ and they plan on expanding. Their website is crackerlakemotorsports.com , owners name is Russell, really nice guy.

These are 2 completely seperate facilities, ( on the same road!!) finally some close tracks to practice at...

News from Forest Glen Motoplex--MXers--here's a quick update on our track. Jason Baker has completed the underbuild of the track, we're finishing off the material application to the track and we should be ready for testing, etc. in a week or so. We still trying to satisfy all of Manatee County and other governmental agency requirements, before we can open to the public, but will have some small events for interested riders/parties. Jason has built what he thinks is already the 'Best' layout/track in the State, maybe the southeast. At this point, the track itself measures just over a mile in length, with 5 major tabletops, several intermediate jumps, and other variations. We're trying to finish it off, to make it a great riding/challenging experience and are anxious to make it available to you. One note, we are not the old CountyLine location, but very close--The old County Line is now Cracker Lake--We're nearby--off Roy Moore Road, at the County Line.
