Fork size OD changed in 2017 for 450's and the triples had to change too. IT won't fit the early years and late years too....
I ran 2012 Honda KYB forks in these clamps also but I’m not sure about stem details for the older models but box says it fits 2014 and up and I bought them for my 2019 crf450r

Not true. Honda switched to a 49mm fork, which is the OD of the lower fork tube. The upper fork tubes upper and lower clamping diameter have been the same since 2009 (450) and 2010 (250) and remain the same as of 2023. OP is correct.
Take $900 for the shock and triple clamps?
