Maybe it's because you're in Italy..You probably have it on TV so they block it..

There's two different countdowns. One for today and one for tomorrow.

Paulins going to be fast as hell on that foo fiddyy.... Kids too tall for the 250 and the fact that he's an ex bmxer is going to work in his favor on this technical track..

Bench racing at its best....
Let's imagine practise were scoring races in MX1/MX2.
France 5/2 = 7
USA 3/5 = 8
GB 8/1 = 9
Italy 1/8 = 9
Australia 2/13 = 15
VERY close indeed...

I could'ne believe France picked Aubin over Frossard..And barely picked Frossard over Boog too. I always thought Frossard was the obvious choice even over Aubin. Aubin didn't show up at all this year.

Good observation...

Aubin has been very fast in the French Nationals on a 450 and Frossard was totaly unproven on a big bike, that's probably why that choice was made in the first place...

France needed MX1 riders, bad, especially after Pourcel has declined invitation (France with Musquin / Pourcel / Paulin or even Aranda or Boog as the 3rd guy would have been hard to beat, as we know Pourcel is just as bad on a 450 !)

Then Aubin got hurt and Frossard barely picked over Aranda (who is a fast MX1 kid, pretty inconsistent though but OK for ONE good result) and Boog (who is'nt as fast as Frossard on an MX2 but won the last MX3 GP on a 450... confusing, he ?)

Frossard has won GP motos this season but is also somewhat of a crasher and sometimes just not "into it".

Did I mention that Paulin is also an unknown factor on a 450 ?

As it is, France could win... or get about 8th.

And in typical Leok style he pulls a 1.56 just like Reedy and AC! That guy can put a fast lap in when he wants!

I agree that CP GP and MM would of been tough to beat unless USA had JS RV and RD.. lol We take what we got.. I'm a huge fan of Frossard. I love his style and when he's on he has as much or more speed than anybody. Especially the last couple races of the year. In Brazil(i think it was brazil) he was pushing Kenny and Marvin pretty hard. I think he may of been trying to show you guys he wanted mxdn..

Some guys use practise to see how fast they are. Some guys use it for sighting and just timing jump sets. I read a mention that the start was good for any gate pick ...

Does the MX1 time set the gate pick for the combined race starts ?

I don't think time has any bearing on anything. If i remember right they draw for picks in the qualifier and the qualifier detemines their gate picks.

OK, after MX3 practise, here's what we've got :
Italy 1/8/2 = 11
GB 8/1/3 = 12
France 5/2/5 = 12
USA 3/5/6 = 14
Belgium 4/6/4 = 14

disappointing Australia is 2/13/12 = 27
Germany just doesn't have a third guy...
Estonia same, too bad for Tanel !
Same for NZL...

on pulpmx.com they say Tommy Searle stays with KTM with Mike Alessi. Monster paid big money to finance Reedy's move to Kawi and Roger D said they couldn't match the $$. So far Suzuki is just RD in 450F and Stroupe in 250F
