I did some research and made a list of riders under the age of 19 years in the MX 2 class :

BUTRON José Antonio 18 years
TONUS Arnaud 18 years
ROCZEN Ken 15 years (1 GP win)
KULLAS Harri 17 years
WILSON Dean 18 years (2 champ. Loretta Lynn’s Amateur + Horizon Award winner )
KARRO Matiss 17 years (almost 18)
HERLINGS Jeffrey 15 years + 3 weeks (2nd in the European Championship)
JÖRGENSEN Rasmus 18 years (almost 19)
TONKOV Alexander 16 years
THURESSON Filip 18 years
SMITKA Petr 18 years
GERCAR Klemen 18 years

Any predictions out of this list ?

1) Ken Roczen
2) Dean Wilson
3) Jeffrey Herlings

Yeah all thoughs kids haul ass! what a bright future they all have! But Rudicross you got it wrong I believe Wilson is 16 or 17 He is not 18.

Of those kids ..

1)Dean Wilson---I think Dean may even win the MX2 class overall.
2)Ken Roczen
3) Jeffrey Herlings

Expect to see both Herlings and Roczen in the USA in 3 years.

i think dean Wilson lacks a bit of maturity to come out on top in such a major event, Roczen has some more experience on a pro level, which gives him a bit of an edge.

I hope the young kids do well its always great to see those riders up front and having fun racing.

Roczen will be battling for a top spot if he gets decent start.
Never count those young guys out.

I think in 2000 when Pastrana kicked ass over there he was under 18 at the time ,if I'm not mistaken.

I think in 2000 when Pastrana kicked ass over there he was under 18 at the time ,if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah Pastrana was 16 and I believe to date he is the youngest rider to ever compete for USA and the youngest ever to win a class at the mxon outright. I sure wish TP would of stuck w/only mx and waited to pursue his fmx career. Damn he was so fun to watch.

Roczen will be under incredible media scrutiny. Dean, maybe a little less. That's a good thing.
