With all this 2-stroke 4-stroke debate going on in the other thread and people spouting off negative stuff, I just wanted to do a positive post. I just got my 06 kx250 motor back from Gorr and it rips. I asked him for a mid and top motor and he delivered. Not only that, he was very helpful and even shipped it next day air so I would get it before the weekend at no charge since he was a couple days behind. The port and head job was $200 and made much more of a difference than a pipe would. It's a little harder to ride but it's a 2-stroke and that's half the fun. Anyway, since I've had a few people make good comments on here about my business I thought I would return the favor and compliment another company on their great and affordable service.

Im happy to see Eric Gorr get some press in these 4 stroke days. He builds some great big bore kits but his fame was built with the two stroke engine.
Living in the midwest he didn't get the high profile treatment of the west coast tuners , yet his knowledge and talent are equal to the best in the world.
He has been my exclusive engine guy since the early eighties. I have been accused of racing cheater bikes more than once through the years by riders spending far more money on their hop ups. I didn't mean for this to sound like a paid ad for Eric, I race 450's now and they have enough power stock so I have not talked to him in a while. I just wanted to say thanks for making works level power available to the masses .

Eric did several killer RM125's for my son and has built a few great 4 stroke RMZ and KXF heads for us and some folks I've sent his way. Quality work and a great guy, hard combo to beat.
