But especially in his first full year here, I think he's been looking around, obvserving and soaking up the U.S. scene with regards to riders, press, tracks, and more. I think he'll be back even stronger next year.
cool guyb, but we don't hang with or interview moto folks like you do all the time. poorcel sounds ike a dickhead and i am sure dungey isn't a pussy like poorcel said he is.

After reading the RD interview and looking at the last picture of RD & Pourcel at Southwick just before the start of the second moto I thought I’d share my thoughts. I was at Southwick standing at the starting gate for the first moto when Pourcel, who had the first gate pick, chose his spot on the gate next to the doghouse. RD and ALL the rest of the top guys selected gates on the far inside and I remember thinking to myself either CP is extremely confident with his ability to get out of the gate or he’s sitting there wondering why none of the top guys are anywhere near him. As the gate dropped for the parade lap all the riders took off except for Pourcel. Keep in mind, the track was wet but it wasn’t muddy. CP sat at the gate while the entire field completed their parade lap. I came to the conclusion (my opinion) that CP was so confident that he didn’t feel like he needed to see the track despite not haven seen it for a few hours…wow what a gamble! Southwick can change so much in just one lap. Anyway, as they say, the rest is history. CP got a horrible start and had to push his bike extremely hard in conditions that continued to deteriorate as the moto wore on. I can’t help but think if CP had selected a better gate and/or taken the parade lap if things might have turned out differently for him and his bike.

For the second moto CP took the inside gate, about 20 spots from his 1st moto gate selection, and despite the fact that the weather and track conditions were much worse than the first moto, CP decided to take the parade lap. Yes, I know the second moto start for CP was worse than his first but it’s something I think about when I read people talk about how CP lost the championship because his bike broke…

Dungey would harm Pourcel in a fist fight. Badly. Ive met Dungey (funny story) and have seen Pourcel. Pourcel is a stick. Fast as fuck though. He needs to keep those Pussy comments away from the track like he has. We all know the French cant fight anyhow. DV12 showed us that (joke).

Dummy, In this sport you can't be everyones friend. Pourcel said what he said because he knew he was the better rider all summer but his equipment failed him. losing a title because of a motor failure would be hard to swallow. Pourcel is the man IMO.

Exactly, and I've been here four times (I'm 29), my parents live in Poinciana FL, I've never had any problems with Americans I've met... We are different for sure ( culture, way of life, opinions etc...) but that's what make things interesting, we can learn from each other...

For Pourcel, the guy has always been like that, self confident, all by himself, awkward with the medias... Honestly, listening to his interviews and his English, I'm not sure he knows a different and more descent way to say pussy in order not to shock people...

You're correct to some extent. I don't mean to infer that all Frenchman are DH's, just all but one that I have met(truthfully). Just my experiences...

He probably is nice to you because he knows he can get something beneficial from you.

Seems kind of ironic to me that Dungey has suffered his fair share of disrespect from US MX fans over the past couple of seasons, and now everyone is suddenly kicking up a fuss about CP's little comment?
