There is 1 pro from Arkansas and 1 from Tennessee that I'm training if you must know. I didn't say they were from Searcy, AR. Smile

having grown up in Conway, I know that back in the 70's/80's, it was about as far from MX as you can get.

I hope there are more tracks there now than last century (the dark ages)!

Ozzy Barbaree was the rider at Southwick with Steve Matthes as his mechanic. he won the Privateer Challenge that Steve was promoting. He has done well in the Nationals he has raced in and deserves a shot with a good ride.

hey there jim. the Seniors race was pretty good. i haven't raced much lately, so i didn't know what to expect from myself. dave antolak was in the 55+ class and i got to bang bars with him a little. he beat me. i used that class for some seat time on the Aztalan track. in the 60+ class, i got the holeshot in the first moto and led for a couple of laps. ended up 3rd after getting passed on the last lap by some young guy. in the second moto, the start area was a little drier and i didn't get the drive i needed to sweep around the first turn again. ended up on the ground when the pack pushed to the left. 3-10 for 7th overall. i'll do some more riding and maybe even some pushups to get ready for the last round in Byron.

as for the arenacross scene, i am always up for the trip. it just takes lots of money and sponsors to make it work. now that pam does monsters, i guess i just need to get a big truck and a driver for that. hah.........
