Hey, while you’re in here Mr. Insider, can you shed some light on the following?

-will there be a return to a 16 man gate for the mains, at least at the bigger venues? The front runners of the sport have always dealt with lappers, but at least a guy who has bad luck in a heat or semi can get it in the main and have a chance at doing better, rather than being capped at 13th place points if he wins the B main. Just a thought.
-how does the payout breakdown by position? I’ve seen the post about this week’s being double, but the website just says $206,500 total purse (which comes out to 14750 per round by my math, but what does each place pay?)

-when will the app be out? The ability to sponsor a rider right from my phone is cool, and the other features that were mentioned like the fantasy league, and voting for head to head racers. I could see that especially important for guys at their local venues where they have a lot of friends and family.

also, I remember just a few years ago when Dylan cunha won Supercross futures C class by 40 seconds. Already racing pro.

Diff rider, this one has been riding the AX series (on a Honda I believe).

I assume it's Jordan Smith (https://www.instagram.com/jordansmith215_/) from Oklahoma; I think he is on a Gas Gas, he went from Novice to Pro really quickly; cool to see the progression.

Thats a strong list!  I bet the normal riders are not pumped.  I will for sure watch though.

I think some of the SX regulars are going to be surprised by how fast Kyle Peters, Bitterman, and Iziah Clark are. Grant Harlan raced AX in the past few years so he will be up in the top 4 as well. I don't see a "SX Regular" other than Harlan winning it. I'd bet Kyle or Iziah to win still.

I agree.  Arenacross is a different world, but it should be fun to watch.

I bet the very top guys are happy.  For guys like Peters, Clark, and Bitterman it's an opportunity to get them and their sponsors more eyeballs and respect if they can beat these guys in their arena.  For the borderline main event guys, it has to be a mix of being stoked to race with those guys while also being bummed it makes their job way harder.  More eyeballs and awareness is good for anyone who performs now or in the future.

Obviously we know Kyle Peters is World class.  However, what a way to get the attention and respect from some SX teams for Iziah Clark or Kyle Bitterman than beating some guys people are familiar with?!

It's going to be fun...for us watching.

Clark is from around my area and he will give about anybody a run on a tight arenacross track…anyone
