Neither, Bridgestone M59. It cleans out better in sticky mud and is way better in the sand/loose soil.  It wears about the same as a MX 33.

Have you tried the X31? M59 is good, but many M59 fans are posting videos saying how X31 took the M59 and improved it

I just switched from 33’s to X31’s front and rear and I like the 31 better.  8 hours and zero wear.  Just ordered a second set to keep the Bridgestone’s on hand

I've been a M59 fanboy for years.  Added X31's to two of my bikes and so far I really like them.  I've only ridden moto and some sandy desert type trails this winter.  In the spring I will get them up on some sweet single track and see how they perform but so far I see no reason to change.
