I'm cool.

I went Friday to check on my duck cabin (black river, ar) with some friends...there is barely phone service there, let alone internet. We spent Saturday drinking and shooting at turtles and gar off the porch. We saw a 5.5' gar about 10 feet from my dock!!!! The three of us went thru 2.5 cases of beer and 550 .22 rounds.
We rolled in at 10:30 AM on Sunday and I left at noon to take my daughter to Children's Hospital in Little Rock. It was a checkup for a prior "eye situation"....EVERYTHING is A OK!!!


We pull in after driving 3 hours home and notice our dachshund was all bloody. Something had gotten it between noon yesterday to 5:00 today. We rush it to the vet and it had some separated ribs and about 8 puncture wounds. He said he will need to keep her 4-5 days....but she should be ok.

I guess the turtles sink to the bottom...or we didn't hit any! lol

We have some targets on the other side of the river. We shot mostly at them, and if a turtle made it's way past, we'd blast at it.
