King on the Air Trophies. 18 of the best Kite boarders compete for these.

Dude hang in there. It is ridiculous that someone with your skills, and being such a good guy like it seems you are, liked by so many, is in such a bad position economically when so many useless scumbags with no skills, laziness, lack of desire to be of use for this society... Still live easier than you do thanks to having been lucky enough to been born in an other place of this planet...

Be strong, I am sure it will get much better for you. Good things have to happen to good people. And do not doubt to ask for help when needed... There is no shame at all in that. This board is full of good people that will do what they can to help a friend

I hate to say this but you’ll probably have more luck just getting a ride across the border with someone than doing it legally. We’re hiring someone from over seas right now and he’s in it like $14,000, we’ve got recommendation letters from the best in the industry, a full work plan from my company, etc. Yet we were denied twice in a row. Finally getting it figured out on round three…and we’re using a legal forum that has gotten Reed, Ferrandis, and nearly ever foreign mechanic over here.

The system is fucked…

I know a couple mechanics and other industry peeps that aren’t here legally. Most have ITINs and pay taxes. One of them has had a few drunken escapades and run ins with the law…yet never has been deported.

It sucks trying to cut through the red tape. Every time I arrive I get hauled into Secondary and I sweat bullets...one wrong word and you are done.

Bumping this thread to see if we can get Boom some more assistance. He's getting close to the goal but needs a little more help.

Hello all, just a quick update. My folks are now in frailcare. Mom's mind is gone and she just sits around. Pops is still sharp. He is none to happy about the situation but my brother says that he has made a couple of friends so with time he will settle.

I'm so relieved that they are now in good hands and that this will be their final home until the end.

It's just sad and something we all have to face in life.

A few pics. One of better times from years ago.

Thank you so very much to all of you who helped make this happen.

Brother, you’ll have a million dollars worth of memories with them. Not going to lie, it’s going to be the worst pain you’ve ever felt in your life. As much as it’s reality, there’s no way to prepare yourself for it.

Bet they’ve lived long, full, good lives? Sounds to me like they raised two great boys.

I've been trying to get a Visa which allows me to reside and work legally in tbe USA.

My skill set as a mechanic, suspension technician and much more has not qualified me. 3 yrs and just over $8000 in immigrantion attorneys has me burnt out.

Do I go to mexico and walk across?

Yes.  Go to Mexico and walk across.  Plenty of help needed everywhere.

sorry to hear about your parents.  We had to place my mom in a memory care place about 6 months ago and it wasn’t easy on the family.

Sorry about the staggered post. I would have liked to post the pics together but it appears that I can only upload single photos.

Have you looked into going to Canada? It will be much easier than coming to the USA.

I have a direct report in Russia (was in Russia). We looked into moving his job to Canada (it was possible), USA would have been impossible (taken forever). We ended up sending him to the Netherlands. He had been in the Russian military years ago (truck driver) and released with high honor, but panicked when they rolled out the “draft”. While he didn’t receive a draft yet, we did everything to get him out asap before (along with his family).

Hope you do this to prove to the dumbasses that say this kind of thing that it's not that easy or simple.
