Well the consistent rumors are KTM being done in the 250 class and only running 2 450 riders next year. If this is true and it appears to be...they are absolutely retarded. I don't understand how they could have their sh*t together so well in Europe and so screwed up in the States.

So there is about 4 more riders that will be looking for jobs, plus Antsie.

Wonder if Pourcel will jump to the 450 class? Will Windham be back on a SX deal or is he retiring?

I think alot of the riders like Hepler and Ferry that have been on factory bikes but have not delivered wins and championships are are going to have a hard time getting any type of support. Now some of the up and coming 250 guys will have a better chance.

I don't understand how a team, in this economy, can pay a Hepler, or Townley...guys that haven't completed a full season in who knows how long due to injuries. Those guys are going to have to start at the bottom I'm afraid.

Yeah, I feel bad for Hepler, the dude definitely has skills but more than that he has bad luck.

For starters The US and Europe are completely different markets with different attitudes toward the product of full size bikes. In my opinion, there are many more people in the US that would consider Blue, Yellow, Red or Green before Orange. That results in fewer sales and available marketing dollars; hence a lower profile in the market. In Europe, it seems that KTM is a more of a choice that people believe in than in the US.

I think KTM in the US is at least trying, but at some point they have to look at the ROI. Is their 65cc, 50cc and off-road market bankrolling the MX market in the US? I don't know. They obviously know how to make a quality product.

Yet another "Pro Circuit 450 team" rumor, like we hear every year around this time. (from Pit Bits on the home page)

Hopefully this year it becomes a reality. I know Pourcel wants to be on a 450, that could be really interesting.

I spoke with the folks that run Honda's national amateur program the other day, and there is a lot still up in the air. The privateers are really scrambling for sponsors right now. So seeing more middle market teams energe, to replace the factory teams taking a step back seems pretty logical. The privateer teams have proven they can do a lot more with less.

Maybe so but its better than STFU which is mind-numbingly crude and just a joke because it is never heeded. Thats my peeve anyway.

Booby's a mean drunk until someone threatens to beat him up.

Then he kinda cries.....over and over again.

Luv ya boob.

I'll take Hepler's career over the Boob.

And you call yourself a fan?

And I'll take J Law over the boob in our fantasy racer who delivers career wise.

A holeshot pic don't cut it no more.
