I got to meet KW in the finisher's tent, Friday morning, as he was talking to Chad Pederson (5th OA in 35+). He seemed comfortable with NOT risking further injury by trying to ride.

As expected, KW was easy-going and fun to chat with.

So far we have determined that the shoulder itself as far as the rotator cuff area seems to be okay. It was only sore and weak after the racing deal, but while loading the van, something felt like it rolled across a bone in the front of my shoulder and had a burning sensation afterward. With the bruising that shows in my arm just below the shoulder I probably have either torn some muscle real good or maybe a tendon that was injured some in the original injury last year. Oh well, I got my MRI set up for tom. and will go from there. I''ll keep ya posted...

Sorry to hear your pains Kevin. Hope the docs have good news.

I've never been to LL. We saw pics that showed a SX style jumps and berms. What exactly does brutal mean? Chewed up? Hot? Or just technical? thanks.

Kevin's had a lot of success over the years at LL's, and deserved every bit of it.

The Walker clan are one of the few families that never a bad word is spoken about. That is a hard earned rep to carry, and one well deserved.

I don't know them personally, but have had short discussions over the years at LL's. Nice people!

Good luck and heal up quick.
