Lets be real. Out of 44 riders in the mains, only 4 riders are better off from a purse perspective in AMA SX.

Shane McElrath just made more purse money for finishing 1st SX2, than the top 10 250 AMA SX purse combined.

Shane McElrath just made more purse money for finishing 1st SX2, than the top 10 250 AMA SX purse combined.

You are assuming that the team paid him 100% of the purse….
