Notice a lot of guys were running the MX14 this year during nationals. I’m mostly riding tracks with a dirt/sand mixture or tracks that are watered and ripped pretty deep and it seems like this tire would do well in those conditions. My only concern would be how terrible would it perform if the track gets dry/hard packed, or I go ride a private track that doesn’t get ripped. I don’t race anymore and just try to go to practices when I can, so Im not looking to swap tires based on where I’m riding or the conditions. I know this tire would excel in sand/deep dirt, but is it good enough all around for a “weekend warrior”? Looking for some input from others who run this tire!

Only good for racing. Unless your local was a sand track.
The tyres don't last long.
And 90% of the benefit is on a start.

Its great when its deep, wet, sandy, muddy or whatever. The moment the ground gets hard and the tires no longer have dirt to “shovel”, they suck. I had some big endo scares at a local track, just the weekend prior it was bottomless. When its wet its deep sloppy silt/sand/ash. Dry, its pretty much concrete with some sand on it.

Ideally having two rear wheels is the move. Regular and scoop
