RIP brother.

Everyone who throws a leg over a motorcycle is OK in my book..... MXDAD......it not always about you and your twisted little world. just sayin

I eat sleep and breathe moto and worked at a harley company that sold his shops custom wheels in turn gave me commision which allowed me to ride on the weekends so MX dad is a real douche bag the motorcycle industry is a family no matter what discipline you patrricipate in we all enjoy motorcycles im sure Bruce was a fan of Moto also. RIP Bruce

Sad News - Bruce Rossmeyer: Bruce Rossmeyer, one of the nation's largest Harley-Davidson dealers and a supporter of charitable causes that helped thousands of children, was killed Thursday in a motorcycle crash in Wyoming as he made his way to the Sturgis, S.D., 69th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Rossmeyer is survived by his wife, Sandy, five children and nine grandchildren. Jeans and untucked shirts made up his CEO attire as Rossmeyer personified the fantasy of a millionaire biker. His private jet has flames running down the side like a Harley. His arm bore the signature Harley logo, permanently.
Rossmeyer helped found, and served on the board of directors for, Camp Boggy Creek, a division of The Hole in the Wall camps; sponsored "Ride for Children," the camp's annual charity motorcycle ride; served on the executive committee of Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties; sponsored "Kyle Petty Ride Across America;" served on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the Police Athletic League for the city of Daytona Beach.
NASCAR driver Kyle Petty formed his own camp for children modeled after Camp Boggy Creek after the death of his son Adam in 2000. Rossmeyer helped him to form Victory Junction in North Carolina after years of taking part in the local ride for children. Rossmeyer continued every year to hold similar fundraising rides for Victory Junction and other charities. Mr. Rossmeyer has been a major sponsor of the "Kyle Petty Ride Across America" which also benefits children's hospitals they encounter on the trip. In 2008, to commemorate the 60 years of NASCAR, Rossmeyer teamed up with NASCAR to create 60 custom motorcycles, each individually serialized No. 1 through 60. Each motorcycle captures the true essence of NASCAR -- a sport that combines design, technology and speed. Motorcycle No. 60 in the series was presented to Petty, who auctioned off the one-of-a-kind motorcycle with proceeds benefiting Victory Junction (a few of these motorcycles are still for sale).
A celebration of Rossmeyer's life is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 11:00am at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1035 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL with Pastor John Cole officiating. His family will also receive friends on Monday August 3, 2009 from 4-9pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
