2022 Honda CRF450RWE Issues Cutting Out

I have a 2022 Honda CRF450RWE with around 30 hours on it. I’ve changed the fuel filter, spark plug, and kill switch. It seems to happen after the bike gets warm, anything over half throttle it will die out. Starts fine and seems to run fine, until it gets warm like I said. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Possible fuel injector issue. Sounds fuel related based starting and running fine. Just my opinion

Injector is the only thing that comes to mind from reading other peoples past problems.

A friend has a 22 that was having idle issues along with cutting out. Thought it was fixed. Back at dealer again. Started with the spark plug and then they started changing other parts. It is there now. Ill report back if anything is determined. Your deal sounds similar. No issues with my 21, solid bike.

Gonna try getting the injector cleaned and contact twisted development, don’t have a lot of plans to ride next month, so may just knock it all at once and try it. Thanks for the input!

Had a very similar issue with my '15 KX450 a few years ago. Bike would rev just fine in neutral, but as soon as I'd put it in gear it would bog badly and want to die almost like a fouling spark plug on a 2 stroke. PawPaw suggested I clean the fuel injector, so I did that, and put fresh gas and its been fine since. I think I had some bad gas sitting in it for a little too long between rides.

Pretty sure sgb Honda had these issues a lot.
I think there wiring harness was shorting

Hey guys,

Any update on this issue? I have a similar issue with my 22 CRF450r at the moment and haven’t got a clear answer. So far I’ve been told it’s the T4 I’m running (bikes ecu is mapped by Tokyo for T4), throttle body assembly, injectors, and fuel pump. That’s just such a broad range of problems to try and pick apart before my new race season starting in January…pretty bummed at the moment.

had the same issue with mine - even went and got ecu reflashed because dealer did it all and still nothing traded in for yamaha

My Dad and I both have 2022 Honda Crf450rWEs that started having issues when any T4 was run in the bike. Mine took just a half tank or so and it sitting in the injector a week for the T4 to cause issues. I had to replace the injector and drain the fuel. Everything has been fine on premium pump fuel. My Dad's bike had the T4 in it longer. Once we replaced the injector and made sure to clear out the T4 everything ran fine again. Both bikes have 10 or so hours on them.
