All MTB's use similar components and this is really what affect the price of the bike. In order of highest to lowest. (Suspension, Chain/Drive, Brakes, Wheels) YT and few other sell direct to customer which saves you money.

Youtube the ebike reviews and also look at Pinkbike reviews pretty spot on. My advise is start mid level $5-6k on a eBike MTB. Make sure you like an ebike first. I always recommend rent/demo a couple before you buy! There is 2 categories you will want to focus on. Trail eMTB and Enduro eMTB. The difference between the 2 is this simple, Do you enjoy the downhill riding more and like to hit big jumps, go with the Enduro. If you want more all mountain bike, get the trail. Also consider if eBikes are allowed on the trails near you. Believe it or not a lot national forest road/trails do not allow ebikes still. Going mid grade, you can always upgrade the components to meet your mods you desire later.

Commencal's are always sold out and popular so might have to settle with a different brand for a while.

Here's mine.. My named my bike "Iron Maiden"

Good points. However, wheels are NOT the lowest cost item in that group. A nice set of wheels is around $1-2k+, easy. Nice brakes are around $500, Drivetrain around $1k, and good suspension around $1500-$2000+.

Sorry I had read the first couple pages a few days ago haha! What part of the country are you in? Id post that thing on the KTM/Husky pages on Facebook and I would think you'd sell it pretty quick. I have two people trying to buy mine for similar money, if you're semi local I'll send em your way!

do it! start riding the Levo ASAP. Get everything setup and start riding before your knee surgery. After surgery when you're PT says you're ready get back on it and enjoy!

I bought a Fantic 1.7 last year and have had really good luck with it. A lot of the hills around here in socal can be a steep climb so it really helps out. I’ve taken it to Sedona and a few places on the east coast and luckily haven’t had any issues with it. I’d recommend it for a good mid level mountain bike.

I got a fantic because I got a really good deal And I don't really know anything about bicycles anyway.. It's been a learning experience I'm actually surprised surprise at how much everything cost I just had to change the whole drive train at 400 miles and a cheap one cost me $210... Tires are as much as dirt bike tires so are tubes. I also had to buy a rear derailer For it.. I suggest investing in some bike tools and a stand and do any maintenance work yourself ..I just ride mine around by my house in the woods so I have it unlocked Being it's a class one it's limited to 20 miles an hour and that's too slow when you're on the road. I've enjoy riding it I figured if I didn't like it I wouldn't lose money on it because I got it so cheap.

How do you like the bike? The local shop has a demo for sale and I am thinking about buying it.
I like it a lot but I really don't have anything to compare it to ,I've never ridden any other e bike .. I think the fantic is a little Heavier than other E bikes . It does have great battery life I can ride it for at least 2 hours on full boost thats how I ride it 99% of the time, i find it more fun to be going fast..I believe they use a bigger battery than other companies.
