I realize my opinion doesn't amount to anything, but you are doing a great job here. With all the chaos going on in the world, and all the opinions the Monkeys are ranting about here, you've been very even-handed with how you administrate things. Well done, sir.

Same here. It’s relaxed and, actually enjoyable. I might walk a fine line sometimes but, it’s usually with best intentions of talking about something relatable or, just having a good time.

he'll probably delete this as respect to GuyB....but it's 10000% better with ML running things in here. Gone are the days of GuyB making fun of his users, deleting threads simply because he didn't like them, and refusing to comment on "breaking news" items...which is something i've so appreciated ML doing: REPORTING NEWS. I butted heads with ol' GuyB a lot and had grown extremely weary of him. (thus my post count). I think damn near ALL of my posts have come after the change in command.

Much much much better in here. Kudos.

Last night when I read his gun post my plan was to post exactly this today when I got done with work.
100% agree that he is doing a much better job at being fair with allowing what goes on here now. It's far more respectful of everyone and not just one person's personal belifes. I like guyb always made it a point to chat with him a Red Bud, Millville or a sx when I go. But you have to put you personal belifes aside when doing business. It's nice no longer having to worry about being booted because of someone else's politics.

Great job ML and keep up the good work.

Yes, much better place. The Moto section will blow up starting a couple of weeks before MXdN with the fracas lasting until a week after that event. It’s expected and entertaining every year. Thanks for what you’ve done to improve VitalMX, Michael.

I agree. Allowing some of the topics to be discussed is great. Its ok to let people voice their opinions to some extent.

So I have to give GuyB some props.
He built this thing from a conglomeration of a couple of what might be called "Redneck "sites.

Guy did really good work getting this to where it is and I feel bad every time he is bashed.

To be clear, he and I rarely got along. I used to be in the industry so he put up with me I suppose.

Yes, I agree that Michael is doing a great job, but there's a dude that started this, and I believe he deserves our appreciation irrespective of belief or opinion.

No. GuyB is not holding one of my children hostage.

It wasnt my intent to slam Gibby when starting this thread, but to say thanks to the new kid at the helm. I got race jerseys older than he is and he's doing a fine job all things considered.

As for El Guapo, his legacy is secured, he's the original PT Barnum of moto-monkeys! Wink

Agree. All of the things I was ready say next have been wadded up and flushed.
Good post JAFO.

GuyB has a legacy to be proud of for sure but the original PT Barnum of moto-monkeys was Steve Bruhn AKA TFS. Steve started MotoNews and was shooting digital photos in 1997 before anybody was. RIP TFS.

Yeah, Teef was a good 'un too. 20 years ago he would let me hang out in the Egomobile at the Houston SX cuz it was cold AF in the pits and sleeting. Told him I was gonna put a vintage Reagan/Bush '84 sticker on the RV for being such a sweety to me. LOL Sure miss that fella.
