Does anyone have a picture of the connection behind the front number plate where the starter connects to the ECU on these models? 3 of my wires broke off of the wiring harness side and I'm just trying to make sure I connect the right ones when I fix it. I included a picture of the connection I'm talking about. Thanks for any help

Sorry I don't have a photo to help, but I can commiserate . I once had to hot wire my 450 with safety wire when that connector corroded and the wire fell off.

Yes that's probably what I'll do. I just don't know which wires go to each other

Do one wire at a time Take photo w cell
The plug mounted in that position is why they break When I work on these bikes I take the connection out of mount and zip tye vertically The wires bouncing is the cause of them breaking in that position

Slow and steady is what I'll do. Thank you both for the help!

Thanks everyone. I just cut the plugs off and wired it together. Runs great now and no issues starting!

After having one failure 4 or so yrs ago and seeing many of them I've been taking that plug out and soldiering the wires together. Problem solved.
