I heard this today and was pretty surprised. Like you said Weege is usually a level headed but he came off as having an ax to grind. Was a very cringey take.

Was it bad or just a departure from our normal media just catering to everyone because it's a small sport?. If the media handled these stories, the rumors, and riders personal lives like major sports the riders just wouldn't talk to them and neither would the teams.

Not sure why Weege is calling out anyone, he's not a racer, he's a spectator with a microphone and nothing else, kind of like getting called out by your friends little sister. Blush

Now I've been watching Moto and SX for a long time, and I find that, when I'm rooting for my favorites, and they get roadblocked by Vince, I start yelling at him through the tv.

Now, I don't hate Vince, in fact I respect that he fights for every inch he occupies on the track. I just get sucked into screaming at him for holding back my guy, who needs to go run down a 1st place finish.

However, it would be nice if Roczen would borrow a bit of Vince's unwillingness to be passed, no matter who is pressuring him.

As far as Sorby, my recollection was that he went all "Rene Cartier" on dudes, and Mitch benched him for a bit. It seemed to work, even if it was just temporarily.

I'm not even gonna get started on whether Bam or Team Fried get the same fan treatment. That discussion is for another day...
