Chances are everyone will get it.. no vaccination means weekly testing. Would have been smart to just get vaccinated and avoid the weekly testing.

It’s getting old. I said nothing about my opinions or my vaccination status. My comment is strictly based on probability. If you ignore that then you are blinding yourself. Odds are everyone will get Covid. If you are not vaccinated they require a negative test to race. If you are vaccinated they don’t require a negative test. It’s simple. Less testing = low chances of texting positive.

It is getting old pal. The easy route isn’t always the best. I agree that what you said is the easy route. Let these riders be men and make decisions for themselves. My biggest concern with this whole post is we have 130 something comments and only myself and 1 other actually posted about how he’s doing and if he’s ok. Sad. We are so focused on a pro vax or anti vax mentality that we can’t even care about someone that is fighting the biggest pandemic in human history. Think about that, you would think that poor (unvaccinated?) Brayton is in the ICU with all these comments but only 2 people actually care about someone and their health. Stop. Your thoughts, my thoughts and definitely the governments thoughts are not on Justin’s mind. I can assure you. Some men in history have stood for things that mean more than a races points or bonus money. Unfortunately we have SHEEPLE that say just comply and get the vax and you won’t have to test. How about we ask how the poor fellow is doing?

I grew up around Justin and his sister. I was good friends with his sister when I used to race. Justin posted about his health and the positive test. He’s an elite athlete. I don’t expect Covid to have a negative impact on him like a typical person.

Standing up for what you believe in and leading people is great. I’m not sure what mindless name calling is doing for your cause. Ironically, calling someone “sheeple” is not leading..it’s following..kind of like sheep. You seem sharp, why not lead with intellect, not some meme comment.

Again, I’m not telling anyone to get vaccinated or not. I said based on the circumstances of testing unvaccinated individuals and the high chance of contracting this strain of Covid..it would be in their favor if they wish to continue racing. This has nothing to do with government compliance.

Justin is a class act and didn’t make it political. He represents the motocross community and our hometown in a positive manner.

Since you know Justin and his sister is he doing ok still? I actually agree with you to a point. I don’t believe that someone should just get the vax so they can race and not be tested. I’m sure we will see more than the 2 riders pulled out of racing this weekend by positive tests. FYI, although Justin is a top athlete most are not having trouble with covid. Most typical people are having no issues or like a common cold/flu, minimal. The sheeple definition is actually perfect for this example. “Would have been smart to just get vaccinated and avoid the weekly tests” as you stated. It’s actually smart to be a man and do what’s right for you and your family. Not what fans or vital/ fantasy wants you to be.
Justin is one of my favorite riders and I’ve been a fan for over a decade. This post went WAY wrong when no one was asking about his health and it was all about vaccinate or test. Btw. This wasn’t an attack on you. Test everyone is the answer, not he should have got the vaccine IMO.

I’m a huge fan of JB as well. I think a lot of people skipped over concern for his health because he addressed it on Instagram in the very next post and updated again today on his stories.

Great pics my man. If you reread the whole post no one addressed his health. I linked his update on being totally fine and ready to race an hour after he posted. Such a great man and a special person for our sport. I’m so bummed he can only tie main event starts now. I’ll remember him more for doing what’s best for his family and his personal health.

Companies absolutely can require a vaccine as well as most anything at an at-will employer. But competitive companies don’t because they don’t want to lose or not be able to attract people.
However ….
Most companies are relieved SCOTUS nixed the mandate because it will cost them employees that won’t accept the vax and it’s something a company can’t control. It may be a level field in a competitive industry when govt mandates all, but I know several people that will just retire or move to non vax mandated business.

The unvaccinated employees test 1 time a week.
