What's up guys. I Want to keep you all in the loop of how im doing and whats been going on and it has been super hard being on the road 24/7.
Just finished up at Red Bud and it has been a pretty crazy couple of weeks to say the least. Colorado was looking really good for me. I qualified 17th and was running in 8th place in the first moto until my bike started losing power and eventually blew up.
My buddy kyle tried taking the motor on the plane the next day and they would not let him. We went to UPS and it was going to be about $350 dollars to ship to cali, 1 way. So Erin and I drove to Nebraska and rode a couple days while trying to figure out a way I could get my bike running for the weekend. Erin knew a guy who knew a guy and it was my only option to have him fix it. He fixed it in a couple days and I was so thankful and could not believe things came together.
My friend Kyle flew in Thursday and got to the track super early Friday morning to put the complete bike together. We finished the bike late Friday night and I went out for my first practice and just as I was completing my first lap the motor lost all power and locked up. I pushed it back to the truck and could not believe what had just happened. We unloaded my girlfriends honda 250f, got it teched and went out for the second practice and set 24th fastest time.
First moto I lined up third gate from the very inside and got a really good jump but got pulled really bad when we hit the dirt. Around the 20 minute mark I was in 14th and feeling really good. I made a mistake and swapped pretty good throwing me off and by the time i got it restarted I was a lap down. That 14th would have been a pretty good birthday present as I turned 20 that morning.
Second moto I was up around 25th on the first lap and ended up 18th. From here, I will be missing Millville and driving back to California to get my bike fixed and get ready for Washougal and the rest of them. Im determined to be in the top 10 when that checkered flag comes out. I'll keep you guys updated.

Best of Luck man.
Too bad you didn't throw out a thread for someone local to hook you up with some direction on a good local engine builder. There's got to be at least a few people on here who actually ride, or at least know someone who does, that could have lent a helping hand.
A local photographer (Pete Emme) got a photo of your crash.
I was over there and you must have kicked that thing about a hundred times, that was a bummer for sure.
Pit Row
I was thinking about your ride the other day. Did you ever consider entering the 450 class?
Based on everything we see and read, it seems like it might be a better place for a privateer to make his mark. The bikes are more reliable, they need less TLC to make them run competitively, and the class isn't as deep when you get further back in the pack.
I'm sure it would be a big change and mid-season probably isn't a good time for that. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the issue.
