Hi All...picked up a '74 XR75, K0 if I recall by the VIN. Lot a neighborhood kids had these, brings back some good memories. There are some obvious and not-so-obvious incorrect parts and I'm hoping some of you here can help with my unsure list below and identify the not-so-obvious (those I did not see).

What I know is not stock to the year:
- muffler
- seat cover
- white rear brake
- fuel cap
- missing decals of course

What I'm not sure of:
- gray painted swing arm instead of black
- black painted handlebars instead of chrome
- mill aluminum throttle cable housing and brake lever mounts instead of black

Thanks in advance

That's going to be way to much work so being the stand up guy I am I will take it off your hands to save you the trouble of restoring it. Wink

Really nice findCool but seriously if you want to sell or trade let me know.

I see you are in Wy I have a excellent, shape low miles Yamaha Phazer II with 36mm Flat slides carbs, pipe and plastic skis that I would trade straight across. I just use it to go check the mail at our house in Estes Park and now when we get a storm in Denver I hit the streets on it. Here are some pics if you are interested or anyone else who has something to trade that is close to Denver.

yes, thanks. I've seen a few similar photos. I've done rebuilds on Italian makes that were imported and/or produced in other countries, and sometimes stock in one country did not equal stock in another county. So wondering if it was the same for these little Hondas. Perhaps black bars and gray swing arm was the standard in Iceland?

I built a few years ago. These guys were helpful on some of the parts.

Great little bikes, still fun today!

I think it unlikely the swing arm and bar color where different. With the other things done to that big I think the arm was painted and newer bars put on.

No thanks. I’ve had a couple run ins with those jackasses.. sent me the wrong parts 2 different times and wouldn’t take them back . I’d burn 5 $100 bills in the driveway before I’d ever send them another dime. I was more asking who made those back in the day
