Hey guys, I have a 2020 yz250f and took it to the track today. It started up fine and after warming up it died as soon as I touched the gas. Bump starting didn’t work and the electric start eventually drained the battery. After going home I charged the battery and when I push the electric start absolutely nothing happens. I’ve checked the plug, as well as the connections to the battery and can’t seem to find the issue. Any ideas?

Did you recently open up your engine or do any work to the bike?

I haven’t, I just got the bike from a dealership and have put maybe 5 hours on it but since it’s used they won’t help me out with diagnosing the issue

In the fuel line? That shouldn’t make the bike seem like the electric start or battery is dead but I will check

Try at the starter relay and see if when you make connection with the power cables and see if it cranks over.
Unplug ECU then plug back in

Also check the easy stuff. Check the kill switch for a short.
