The nut licking is off the chart in this thread.

I could show you guys what a bunch of fools you are, but I won't bother. Not my problem.

If you insist on believing bullshit and it makes you happy, then do it!

Ain't it funny how my name keeps coming up and spoiling these threads!?

Just a real quick side note to our conversation... so Davey is driving through Ohio while we are talking. About 15 minutes in he says "hang on, I have to put the phone down" Maybe 10 seconds later he picks it back up and says something like, Im in Ohio and there is a trooper on the side of the road, and I don't know if I'm allowed to talk on the phone in this state.lol Would of been real easy for him to say, ok I have to go. He didn't and he talked to me for another half an hour.

Just going to throw it out there, but I told him, I'd like to see the top 20 finishing results instead of just the top 10. Well see in a lil while if he was able to pull that together in a day.

Peace all

It's the 4th of July, have some beer and blow some things up tonight!!!!

Funny, my last post was 20 hours ago, I didn't even look at the board after my last post till now. Ok though, I'll be done with it, looks like it's gone down hill anyway.

So TFS...do you feel like you are the only sane person in an insane world? The only person who sees the truth? Everyone else has the wool pulled over their eyes?

We are simply willing sheep?

Lambs racing to the slaughter house?

Why is it we are all so easily mislead?

Are we all just simpletons?

You have insight and wisdom that you have tried to share with us, but we just choose to ignore it?

"I'm just asking questions..."
Pretty much yeah.

But it doesn't matter. As long as you are happy being fooled, be fooled. I said that in the beginning. I don't see why people have to be so upset about the truth when it's mentioned.

Only one side of this topic can be correct. That happens to be me.

This thread has gotten repetitive.

Again, I didn't comment to bring up old things. If I did, you would complain about that.

The current topic is, is the subject a douchebag or not, nothing to do with me at all.

Smile

I'm out too. I might comment if you guys can come up with something worth responding too!

That's known as delusional when you believe yourself to be the only person who sees the truth. You really might want to check in with a psychiatrist.

Just to catch anyone who didn't see the Pourcel thread about the gate malfunction, I basically called DC out about a few things. I had questions about the Glen Helen National, the TV package, and the future of the nationals. He saw it and took offense, I blamed him for not returning my emails. He said he never recieved either email I sent him. Then in another thread thread he was asking for the email again. So I sent him another email, he responded to it while at dinner with his wife. In his response he gave me his phone number and said to call him or give him mine and while he was driving to the race this weekend he would call me.

7:30 my time, my phone rings and it's DC. In our conversation (which lasted about 45 minutes) he was very cool and down to Earth. I was kind of dreading talking to him. I've never met the guy, but nobody has ever said a bad thing about the guy. I figured it was just because of who he is, and people are afraid to really tell them what they think. I pictured him surrounding himself with "yes men." I thought he was going to go off on me about the lack of returning my emails and calling him out on a message board. My suprise, he really seemed to care that my emails never made it to him.

Without getting into details, our conversation couldn't of gone any better. The guy is genuine and really does have the future of mx on his mind at all times. If just some of the things he told about come to pass, the nationals will be better than they are now. Not that there is anything wrong now, but he has some cool ideas for the future.

Davey, I am sorry you had to take time out of your day to talk to a mx fan from a message board. I do have a new found respect for you, and I have a better understanding of what your up against, and what your trying to accomplish. Hope it all works out!!

Thanks for your time
Trip

Hope this sticks around long enough for DC to see it.
So he doesn't get the first emails and suddenly his mail starts working? This is a weird thread, you get a call from DC, give no details, tell us everything is great with MX and people are high 5ing you for it, LMAO. " Hope this sticks around long enough for DC to see it.." LMAO!!!!!

I dunno who's right and who's wrong,

but I do know that someone sold out an MX hero by the name of Larocco along with culture and history when they changed the name of his Leap!

Wow, it's still LaRocco's Leap, they just added a sponsor for the sake of getting it on TV.

Get a clue... Everyone that knows and/or cares will call it what it is.

Just like some of us refuse to call the MXDN, the MXON... its no big deal. If you've noticed, Weege is often "explaining' things on the broadcasts most of "us" would already know, to make it more mainstream, and attract people unfamiliar with the sport. Kinda like explaining it to your new chick that doesn't ride...

Getting it on TV is awesome, and getting sponsors names out there is awesome, but that doesn't mean whoring out the track is a good thing. Comming up with new ways of marketing and advertising is a good thing, but not at the expense of jeapordizing previoiusly established and currently valued traditions.

I don't remember him explaining the real name of the Leap, but ya I get what you're saying, and I do think Weege is an awesome announcer; leaps and bounds ahead of Ralph ShaSHIT and Jeff the dumbass "state the obvious" Emig.

Funny thing... the Pepsi 400 is called the Coke Zero 400 now.

I think I'll still call it the Pepsi 400 though, because that's what a core NASCAR fan would do.

Or, I might just call the Nextel Tower the Winston Tower.

In other words, who gives a shit what they sell the rights to for TV coverage as long as the sponsors keep putting money into this little league sport of ours.

Just be happy that it's on TV and the show is good.
